Formerly known as Astro and Astronomical Kid, Brooklyn emcee Stro is back at it again!
With a list of titles attached to his name the rapper, lyricist, actor, and producer is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album, Grade A Frequencies. As a product of the Hip-Hop culture, Stro takes his musical influences from the Golden Era and pushes to make them proud. Looking up to greats like Jay-Z, Biggie, Tupac and Nas storytelling is something the emcee takes pride in. It’s all about painting the perfect picture in relation to Stro’s lyricism.
Busy splitting his time between music and acting, Stro has been seen in major roles including the CBS series Person of Interest and Fox’s drama Red Band Society. Taking a break from acting to focus on his artistry, the head of the music & lifestyle label Grade A Tribe aims to bring the importance of reflective messages back to the culture with his new album.
The nine track album features production by Cassius G, Jack Dine, ScoopOneBeats, Coopatroop, Nabeyin, and Elbee Thrie. With guest appearances by Jordan Bratton, Elbee Thrie, Macro Mckinnis, and Nathaniel.
