Beanie Sigel Sentenced To Two Years In Prison After Pleading Guilty To Tax Evasion

Another day, another rapper in tax trouble. According to HHDX, Beanie Sigel has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading ‘guilty’ to tax evasion. Between the years 1999 and 2005 Beanie failed to file over $728K in federal income taxes, and now he will have to pay a debt to society and go to jail. He surrenders September 12th.

Sigel faced up to three years in prison. In 2004, he was sentenced to prison for possession of a gun and drugs. He returned to jail in 2008 for violating his parole three times, and is also currently facing a suit stemming from a shooting incident outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s Power 99.
