Roc Nation has recently announced their latest acquisition, M.I.A.!!!

After Santigold made her move over to Roc Nation Management, I knew that it was only a matter of time until fellow Sri Lankan, M.I.A, joined the brigade…

As M.I.A. readies her fourth studio album, her new track “Bad Girls” made its debut on Pitchfork.com January 30th and was released worldwide on January 31st. “Bad Girls” was produced by Danja (Timbaland, Diddy, Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Pink). The “Bad Girls” video was directed by Romain Gavras (M.I.A.‘s “Born Free” and JUSTICE’s “Stress”) and premiered on Noisey – VICE’s music channel on YouTube on February 3rd. Expect a full length release from M.I.A this fall! MIA was named one of the ten defining artists of the 2000’s decade by Rolling Stone and one of the world’s 100 most influential people by Time magazine.

I can’t wait to see what opportunities are afforded to her from here… Roc Nation Management is silently shaping up to be one of the strongest management firms in the industry, and with such an intense roster there’s no telling what will come of it all.
